Patrick O'Brien - also known as Corporal Patrick O'Brien - is one of the main characters in the movie "War of the Worlds: Goliath".
Originating from Ulster in Ireland, he joined up with A.R.E.S and was initially part of a plan created by an Irish Republican Army cell (led by his elder brother Sean) to steal Portable Heat Ray Cannons and possibly one of the newest Battle Tripods to give to the Fenians - in order to help them liberate Ireland from English rule. However, upon the Martian's return, Patrick abandoned the plan as he saw that the Martians were the greater threat and so resumed his work to help A.R.E.S and his team defeat them.

His voice actor Adrian Paul previously played John Kincaid in the War of the Worlds TV Series that followed from the original George Pal movie.
