Raja Iskandar Shah- also known as Lieutenant Raja Iskandar Shah - is one of the main characters in the movie "War of the Worlds Goliath". He often serves as the spiritual center of his team and is willing to believe the best in everyone, as evidenced by his belief that if the Martians returned the nations of the world would put aside their differences and work together to defeat the greater threat.
In the past, Raja used to be a Prince in his homeland of Malaya. However, his decision to join A.R.E.S. led his family to disown him. Raja proceeded to journey to England and study at Oxford University before becoming a member of A.R.E.S. under the command of Captain Eric Wells.
Despite his country being a colony of the British Empire, Raja referred to the British positively - quoting Shakespeare during a conversation with Patrick O'Brien, saying "There is no darkness but ignorance".
